Show premiere for Macchi nine-layer blown film line

In what is believed to be a “World First,” leading film extrusion equipment producer Macchi S.p.A. is producing nine-layer barrier coextruded blown film on its stand 17C20 at K2010. This involves not only running its “COEXFlex” line throughout the show, but also starting it up every morning and closing it down every evening in record time. Recotrim® new touch screen control panel

Recotrim is a patented system for trim and film waste regranulation through a co-rotating twin screw that melts and plasticizes the material forcing it through a specifically designed extrusion die. An adjustable speed cutting system converts the strands into pellet sized granules. These pellets are air cooled using a vortex system and transferred into a spiral device for further cooling. A new touch screen control panel was recently introduced in order to make it even more user-friendly for the operator.
