Wide webs

These films, used when it is necessary to cover large surfaces, satisfy the most different needs, spanning from three layer construction films where mechanical properties are under the spot light, to greenhouse films, where the performances are more complex.

Particularly for the latter, this is a good reason to opt for state-of-the-art lines, which allow to improve the standard three layer structures to combine features like heath-effect and UV resistance with anti-fog, light diffusion and weather resistance, to prolong the useful life of the films despite the attacks by the weather conditions and the chemicals used on cultivation.

All these features are attained by the addition of specialty masterbatches, so that the use of such specific ingredients in defined layers is the driving technological factor of such large production lines.

The traditional three layer systems are more and more being substituted with five layers, while there is a growing interest towards 7 layer lines.
