MACCHI once again proves its leadership in innovation with a breakthrough in recyclable barrier films. The new 7-layer line marks a concrete step toward mono-material solutions, reducing the EVOH layer to just 1 µ and only 4% of the total structure.

This achievement has been recognized by the Organizing Committee of the Adsale Plastics Network 2026 Top 10 Plastics & Rubber Technology Trends Case Awards, which has granted MACCHI a prestigious innovation recognition: the Outstanding Achievement Award under the category “Functional Films Designed for Thinness, Strength, and Speed.”

The official award ceremony will take place during Chinaplas, one of the leading global events for the plastics industry. The honour will be received by MACCHI’s CEO, Anthony Michael Caprioli.
